Originally an extensive Global Jazz composition by R A Fish, the first theme set of motifs are extracted from the larger work. The 2nd theme set of motifs were added for this recording to introduce the drumset solo. The dumbek introduction & transitions, known as a Break in West African drumming , was also composed by R A Fish for his first Lyrichord Dics CD, "The Art of the Dumbek". The main ostanato Afro Samba rhythm was originally composed on tabla by R A Fish, which he later transfered to dumbek and eventually combined with his drumset rhythm for this composition.
The elaborate symphonic version is a collaboration between World Class Classical composer/educator and director of Sonora House, Judith Sainte Croix and R A Fish. The orchestration was created by Ms. Sainte Croix (
